Systemic Family and Couples Therapies provide effective help for people with an extraordinarily wide range of difficulties. Throughout the life span, it is shown to be effective in the treatment and management of depression and chronic physical illness, and the problems that can arise as families change their way of life.

As family therapists, we work systemically believing that the central focus should be upon the system rather than the individual. We take a consistent view that difficulties do not arise within individuals but in relationships, as in couple interaction and language that develops between individuals.

Emotionally Focused Therapy is another approach we use that can help your relationship become more secure and satisfying, even if nothing else you’ve tried has worked.

With Emotionally Focused Therapy, you can:
Gain insight into your own and others behaviour.
Rebuild safety and trust.
Receive more caring and respect.
Resolve conflicts with love.

Research over the last 30 years provides evidence that the positive effects from EFT are larger than any other couple intervention has achieved to date. According to APA 75% of couples that attend find the intervention effective. Research studies find that 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and approximately 90% show significant improvements.
