Geraldine Donnelly started her working life in Marketing and after ten years became a stay-at-home mother to raise a family of three boys. She did her degree in Developmental Studies as a mature student and then did her Masters in Psychotherapy. While training in the field of Family Systemic Therapy she worked in a community setting in West Dublin alongside a Family / Narrative psychotherapist, and in a school project with adolescents who were experiencing difficulties staying in the school system.
After qualifying in 2013 Geraldine Donnelly joined Naas Family & Play Therapy Service as a fully accredited psychotherapist in private practice where she has worked with families facing challenges such as parental separation, bereavement and mental health difficulties including stress, anxiety and past traumas. She works with parents, children and adolescents who have a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues.
Geraldine Donnelly believes that through dialogue and support clients can work with the challenges in their lives and bring about positive change.
